Social care is of particular importance in working towards a society where all disabled
people and people with a sensory impairment can participate fully as equal citizens.
BiJu believes that by meeting the social care needs of people appropriately, and
gearing services to their rights to choice, independence and inclusion, people can
have improved opportunities to participate in public life.
BiJuCare
aims to enhance the quality of life of people with a physical disability or sensory
impairment by fostering a culture which promotes their rights, independence, choice
and inclusion.
BiJuCare staff are dedicated, committed
and trained to:
- Assist service users to achieve the maximum degree of independence.
- Focus on care and support that enables.
- Providing flexible and responsive care.
- Offer choice and control on how the service is delivered.
BiJuCare can provide practical support and compassionate
care for those with a chronic or terminal illness. Our specially trained team form
part of the community palliative care service, working alongside GP practices, district
nurses and other support groups such as Macmillan and Marie Curie and local hospices.
BiJuCare works closely with family, friends and
carers to give practical and emotional support throughout the illness and into bereavement.
BiJuCare has a dedicated team of care support workers
trained to provide practical support and guidance to people recovering from surgery
or a debilitating illness for example a hip replacement or a stroke (CVA). The team
has an outcome centred approach to caring, working to pre-defined goals designed
to enable people to regain lost skills and to reach their full potential for independence.
This specialised service is supported by qualified mental health professionals and
a team of trained support workers. The level of support BiJuCare
provides ranges from minimal support with daily living tasks, shopping, housework
etc to supporting comprehensive packages of care alongside a multi-disciplinary
team of social and health care workers.
BiJuCare can provide as little as half an hour
a day to 24 hour care to support people in their own home whilst family members,
friends etc take a well earned break / respite.
BiJuCare can provide a flexible tailored service
night and day designed to meet your needs long or short term. Our team of qualified
care workers are trained to provide assistance with all aspects of personal care
eg; washing, bathing, showering, dressing, toileting, support with medication, prosthesis,
catheter care (this list is not exclusive)
BiJuCare's domestic services are not exclusive
to either the elderly or disabled. Our teams cleaning service ranges from a one
off "Spring Cleaning" service to regular weekly cleaning and extensive "blitz" cleaning
additionally we offer, dog walking, assistance with light gardening grass cutting,
weeding etc and small handyman type tasks eg: hanging pictures, sweeping paths etc.
If help is required to enable you to attend appointments, social activities, celebrations,
visiting etc. BiJuCare has experienced punctual
care workers available to assist you.
